The Oran baseball team was forced to wait to take the field for the second time this week.

The Eagles were scheduled to host Naylor in a Class 1 state quarterfinal Wednesday, but the game was postponed because of the threat of storms.

The game was rescheduled for 4 p.m. today at Oran.

The Eagles (22-2) are coming off a 5-2 victory over Cooter in Tuesday's sectional round.

The winner of the Naylor (16-4) vs. Oran game will advance to the final four.

The Central baseball team also will try to earn a trip to the final four today. The Tigers host Vianney in a Class 4 state quarterfinal.

Central defeated Hillsboro 9-5 on Tuesday to advance to today's quarterfinal.

First pitch between Vianney (24-8) and Central (17-9) is scheduled for 4:30 p.m. at Central.

Any changes to today's schedule will be posted on semoball.com as soon as they're reported.
