St. Vincent JV tourney begins

The St. Vincent junior varsity girls basketball tournament got under way on Wednesday with four games.

Host St. Vincent beat Ste. Genevieve 44-24, Delta defeated Scott City 44-26, Kelly downed Arcadia Valley 28-23 and Windsor knocked off St. Pius 46-26.

Action resumes Friday with the semifinals. Consolation play has Scott City vs. St. Pius at 4:15 p.m. and Arcadia Valley vs. Ste. Genevieve at 5:30. The championship bracket features Delta vs. Windsor at 6:45 and St. Vincent vs. Kelly at 8.

The championship is set for Saturday at 1:45 p.m.
