CRYSTAL CITY -- St. Vincent's Becky Lorenz scored half of her team's points as the Squaws beat Crystal City 40-26 on the road Saturday.
Lorenz, a 5-foot-7 senior, led all scorers with 20 points. Fara Galati added 12. Crystal City was led by Miranda Marshall's 12 points.
St. Vincent improved to 3-7 overall and 1-1 in Jefferson County small division play.
NMCC 71, Scott Co. Central 44
MORLEY -- New Madrid County Central's Shayla Day had 35 points and Tamekia Tipler added 21 as the Lady Eagles beat Scott County Central on the road Saturday.
NMCC led by 10 points at halftime before outscoring the Bravettes 17-5 in the third quarter.
Scott County Central was led by Vontrice Blackmon and Lekeya Turner. The pair of freshmen both had 11 points.
