ST. LOUIS -- The St. Louis Rams will open the season at home for the first time in three years, playing the Arizona Cardinals on Sept. 12.

Three of the first four games will be at home for the Rams, 1-15 last year. The last time they opened at home was 2007, when they lost 27-13 to the Carolina Panthers.

The Rams are at Oakland in Week 2, then play the Redskins and Seahawks at home the following two weeks.

The bye week Nov. 7 splits the season into two equal parts. Four of the first five games after the bye will be on the road.

The Rams will face the Kansas City Chiefs at home Dec. 19, but not in the traditional preseason Governor's Cup game.

The Rams also finalized dates for preseason games. They'll face the Vikings (Aug. 14) and Ravens (Sept. 2) at home, and play at Cleveland (Aug. 21) and New England (Aug. 26).
