~ The Blues defeated Dallas in overtime for their second straight victory.
ST. LOUIS -- The St. Louis Blues are on a bit of a roll.
Barret Jackman scored at 2:16 of overtime to lift the Blues to a 4-3 victory over the Dallas Stars on Saturday.
St. Louis has won two straight and three of four. The two-game winning streak is its longest since it took back-to-back games at Columbus and Detroit in November.
Jackman took a pass from Keith Tkachuk and his shot deflected off of Stephane Robidas' stick and past Marty Turco. His third goal of the season also snapped the Stars' six-game winning streak.
"When you're playing 4-on-4, you always want to have one defenseman up in the rush," Jackman said. "I just tried to find an opening, and [Tkachuk] hit me with the pass."
It was the second straight meeting between the Stars and Blues that had finished 3-3 in regulation.
"We knew exactly what was coming," Dallas coach Dave Tippett said. "I don't think we played hard enough. Not with enough urgency, we deserved our fate."
St. Louis got its scoring from Dean McAmmond, Vladimir Orszagh and Mike Glumac, who scored his first NHL goal.
Jon Klemm, Jason Arnott and Jere Lehtinen scored the goals for Dallas.
St. Louis scored first on McAmmond's 15th goal of the season with 2 minutes, 7 seconds remaining in the first period. McAmmond took a cross-ice pass from Lee Stempniak and whistled a shot from in front of the net past Turco's glove.
After Dallas took a 2-1 lead in the second period, the Blues tied the game on Orszagh's power-play goal.
Glumac scored in just his fourth NHL game 32 seconds later.
Dallas tied the game 4:55 into the third period.
Sanford (8-12-4) made 25 saves.
