NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Paul Kariya scored the only goal in a shootout and the Predators beat the St. Louis Blues 3-2 on Saturday night.

Kariya, who also scored a power-play goal in regulation, beat Manny Legace with a high shot for the game winner.

Scott Nichol also scored for Nashville.

Keith Tkachuk had a goal and an assist and Doug Weight added a goal for St. Louis.

The Predators have won 10 straight against St. Louis.

It also was the 10th straight loss for the Blues. New coach Andy Murray is now 0-3.

St. Louis took an early lead when Tkachuk skated in from the right side and across the crease, firing a shot from the left side of the net that beat Chris Mason 29 seconds into the first period.

Weight scored on a 5-on-3 power play at 10:43 in the first period when he shot a one-timer from the top edge of the right circle past Mason, giving the Blues a 2-0 lead.

Kariya cut the lead to one goal in the second period, and Nichol tied the game with 17 seconds left in the second.
