BENTON, Mo. -- Robbie Standridge battled Todd Rowland in a side-by-side race for four laps, then held off Rowland's challenges through the final half of the race to win the sprint feature Saturday at Auto Tire and Parts Racepark. BENTON, Mo. -- Robbie Standridge battled Todd Rowland in a side-by-side race for four laps, then held off Rowland's challenges through the final half of the race to win the sprint feature Saturday at Auto Tire and Parts Racepark.

After Rowland and Standridge overtook leader Alex Shanks in the first six laps, the pair raced side-by-side before Standridge finally took an advantage. The Springfield, Ill., racer picked up his fourth win of the season by holding off Rowland's consistent pressure.

Rowland was second and Steve Short third.

Danny Sissom and Robert Powers each took turns leading the open-wheel modified feature race before giving way to Terry Johnson, who led the final three laps and held off a last-lap charge by Chris Hall for his first win of the season. Johnson, of Benton, led Hall and third-place Joe Geisler.

Terry James of Jackson, Mo., led 13 other starters for the win in late models. Charlie Savage was second with Henry Nash third.

Johnny Houart of Gideon, Mo., won for the first time this season in pure stocks over Cline Myers Jr. and Billy Hopkins.
