Southeast Missouri State University's men's and women's outdoor track teams will open the season this weekend at the Alabama Relays in Tuscaloosa, Ala.
"The Alabama Relays will be loaded with outstanding teams and individuals," said Southeast coach Joey Haines. "This will be a good meet to let our athletes see how they stack up against the top talent early in the season."
Some of Southeast's top entries will include Jaret Willi in the pole vault, Jay Heddell in the shot put, Garvin Ambrose in the high jump, Shelton Scott in the triple jump, Emmanuel Opoku in the sprints and Glenn Haley in the hurdles.
Top entries for the Southeast women will include Heather Keltner in the 400-meters, Amy Arteme in the 10,000 and the 4x100 relay team of Keltner, Shauna Birge, Nat Talley and Darla Hannan.
