The Ford & Sons Sr. American Legion team of Cape Girardeau dusted Stoddard County in a doubleheader sweep at Capaha Field Tuesday night. Cape (24-17) won the first game 18-1 then claimed the nightcap 14-3. Luke Johnson was the winning pitcher. Travis Wissman went 3-for-3 with two doubles. Shane Kistner went 2-for-2 with a triple and a homer. Timmy Wencewicz, Scott Wittenborn, Johnson, Richard Harrison and Barry Ziegler all had two hits apiece...

Travis Wissman went 3-for-3 with two doubles. Shane Kistner went 2-for-2 with a triple and a homer. Timmy Wencewicz, Scott Wittenborn, Johnson, Richard Harrison and Barry Ziegler all had two hits apiece.

In the second game, Harrison pitched 4 1/3 innings to pick up the win.

Seth Hudson went 4-for-4 with four doubles. Wittenborn added three hits and Snider had two, including a homer. Johnson also had two hits.
