Southeast Missouri State University track and cross country standout Amy Arteme is one of 300 student-athletes selected to participate in the fifth annual NCAA Foundation Leadership Conference May 28-June 1 in Lake Buena Vista, Fla.
Arteme, a Kelly High School graduate, was the 1999 OVC cross country runner of the year as she won the conference title. She placed second in the 2000 OVC cross country meet and was also second in the 10,000-meters at the OVC outdoor track championships.
An OVC Medal of Honor winner for having the highest grade-point average in OVC cross country, Arteme has a 3.857 cumulative GPA in dietetics.
