Kelvin Anderson, Southeast Missouri State University's all-time leading rusher who has had an impressive career in the Canadian Football League, is off to another strong start.
Through six games for the Calgary Stampeders, Anderson ranks fourth in the CFL in rushing with 429 yards. He is averaging 5.3 yards per carry, although perennial CFL power Calgary is off to just a 2-4 start.
Anderson, who completed his eligibility at Southeast in 1994, is in his sixth CFL season. He rushed for more than 1,000 yards in each of the previous five campaigns.
