Uhls dinner tickets still available

The first annual Joe Uhls Memorial Golf Tournament & Dinner on April 19, a benefit for Southeast Missouri State University's baseball team, has filled all the spots for the golf portion of the event at Bent Creek Golf Course, but tickets still remain for the dinner at the Cape Girardeau Elks Lodge.

The dinner, featuring former Cardinals manager Whitey Herzog as guest speaker, will begin at 5:30 p.m. There will also be a silent auction. Dinner tickets cost $30 and can be purchased by calling 986-6002.

The event is named after the late Joe Uhls, Southeast's former baseball coach.
