Auburn football coach Tommy Tuberville received a one-year contract extension Wednesday.

After the 2000 season, Tuberville signed a five-year deal worth $1.25 million per season. This extension leaves him with five years.

The Tigers finished 7-5 last season after losing four of their final five games.

Matt Senneca, a junior quarterback at Penn State who lost his starting job to freshman Zack Mills this season, announced he will not return for his senior season.

Rodman suit could be dropped

Lawyers do not know if the sudden death of a Las Vegas cocktail waitress makes moot her battery and sex harassment lawsuit against former NBA star Dennis Rodman.

Gloria Chapa, 62, was found dead Sunday at her home in Henderson, Nev. An autopsy determined she died of a heart attack, the Clark County Coroner's Office said.

The civil lawsuit accuses Rodman of pinching her and grabbing breasts in 1998.
