Peterman, Furey and Alberson top annual Jaycee scramble

Sam Peterman, Deanna Peterman, Jim Furey and Jim Alberson teamed to win the championship flight of the 13th annual 4-person scramble at the Cape Jaycee Municipal Golf Course on Saturday.

The team shot a 59 and won on the first play-off hole.

Joe Golden, Gene Golden, Keith Raganyi and Mark Balance won the A Flight with a score of 63. All three teams in the A Flight shot 63.

In the B Flight Martin Santana, Ray Doyle, Jeff Michel and Steve Bucheit won with a score of 69.

Cape Girardeau Country Club Friday Night Couples

Roger Mealy and Lisa Bjelich and David and Kathy Morris were winners at the Cape Girardeau Country Club Friday Night Couples.

Second-place winners were Jeff and Leslie Steele and Dave and Barb Kaesheimer. Coming in third were John and Mary Sue Layton and Jim and Sarah Cochrane. In fourth were Mac and Shari McConnell and Bill and Janet White, Sr.

Closest to the pin winners were Dave Kaesheimer on No. 2, Mary Sue Layton on No. 6 and Deb Mealy on No. 8.
