Johansson, a former Australian Open champion, rallied from a set down before a packed Royal Tennis Hall crowd that included Agassi's wife, Steffi Graf.

  • Jiri Novak of the Czech Republic won the Swiss Indoors for his first indoor title, defeating David Nalbandian in five sets Sunday in a final in which the Argentine smashed two rackets.

Novak, who was not seeded, won 5-7, 6-3, 6-4, 1-6, 6-2, giving him two titles this season and seven for his career.

  • Amelie Mauresmo won her fourth title this year, beating Russia's Elena Bovina 6-2, 6-0 Sunday in the Generali Ladies Open final.

The top-seeded Frenchwoman dominated with a strong serve and hammering forehand to win in just more than an hour.
