In a news release issued by the university Sunday night, Southeast athletic director John Shafer said Ishee was injured and is hospitalized in St. Louis.

"He is being held for observation and testing for the next 48 hours. He was able to visit with his staff Sunday afternoon," Shafer said in the release.

Shafer said assistant Chris Harris will handle the coaching duties for Tuesday night's game at Tennessee State in the first round of the Ohio Valley Conference tournament.
