Southeast women's basketball 2007-08 schedule released

The Southeast Missouri State women's basketball team, coming off its second straight Ohio Valley Conference title and NCAA tournament appearance, will open the regular season Nov. 10 at home against Tulsa.

Southeast's schedule features a pair of games against teams that advanced deep into last year's NCAA tournament, including a Nov. 29 home date with 2005 national champion Baylor.

Baylor, which beat the Redhawks last season in Waco, Texas, is coming off an NCAA Sweet 16 appearance.

The Redhawks visit Purdue on Dec. 2. The Boilermakers advanced to last year's NCAA Elite Eight.

Southeast's 29-game regular-season schedule includes 15 home dates.

"We have arguably the toughest schedule in the history of the program at the Division I level," Southeast coach John Ishee said in a release.
