The Southeast Missouri State volleyball team kicked off its final homestand of the season by splitting two Ohio Valley Conference matches.
Southeast lost to Murray State 21-25, 25-14, 18-25, 25-22, 15-10 Friday before sweeping Austin Peay 25-15, 25-20, 25-18 Saturday.
Seniors Emily Coon, Berkley Idel, Julie Shives and Colleen Yarber were honored prior to Saturday's contest at Houck Field House as the Redhawks celebrated senior day.
The defending OVC West Division champion Redhawks (15-15, 7-7) were eliminated from contention for the West Division title with Friday's loss.
Coon led Southeast against Murray State with 19 kills and a .607 hitting percentage. She added six blocks.
Yarber had 16 kills and 17 digs; Idel recorded 23 digs; Shives dished out 52 assists; sophomore Taylor Masterson had 12 kills and four blocks; and junior Andrea Baylin added 16 digs.
Coon again led the way against Austin Peay with 17 kills and a career-high .810 hitting percentage.
Yarber had 11 kills, and she needs only 11 more to reach 1,000 kills in her career.
Idel recorded 17 digs and Shives distributed 39 assists.
Southeast plays its final home match of the season Tuesday, facing Tennessee-Martin at 6:30 p.m.
