The Southeast Missouri State University volleyball team bounced back after its loss to the nationally ranked Missouri Tigers on Thursday night, beating Tennessee State 30-19, 30-27, 30-25 on Friday.

After opening the match with a convincing first set victory 30-19, the second and third sets were a bit different. Southeast held Tennessee State off in the second set, winning 30-27. The Otahkians kept the momentum into the third set, again barely squezzing by 30-25.

The Otahkians kept Tennessee State winless in the OVC with the victory.

Southeast (14-11) was led by Emily Scannell, who had 41 assists. Emily Johnson added 11 kills while Suzanne Gundlach contributed 17 digs.

Tennessee State (13-14) was led by Jennifer Corral who had 14 kills. Jennifer Washington added18 digs and Kristin King had 30 assists.
