The Othakians struck for five of their seven hits on the game in their six-run rally. The offensive included a solo home run by Leanne Gryncewicz.

Debbie Schmelz (1-3), the third Otahkian pitcher, suffered the loss. Schmelz gave up three hits in the sixth inning, which were compounded by a hit batsman and two Otahkian errors. All four runs in the inning were unearned.

Jenny Oermann had two of Southeast's seven hits.
