Southeast's women's soccer team (8-5-4, 3-3-1) closes out the regular season tonight as Tennessee Tech (9-9-0, 3-4-0) visits Houck Stadium at 7 p.m.

While the Otahkians have been eliminated from contention for their third straight OVC regular-season title, they are still in the running to host a conference tournament play-in game Tuesday night.

Six of the nine OVC teams make the tournament, with the top two receiving first-round byes. The third and fourth place squads host the fifth and sixth place teams in play-in games.

The Otahkians are in fifth place, just behind Tennessee-Martin. If Southeast wins tonight and Martin loses or ties against Murray State, the Otahkians will host a play-in contest.

"We're finally getting some people healthy, which is a good sign for us," said Southeast coach Heather Nelson, whose team has been hit hard by injuries.
