Southeast Missouri State put 29 student-athletes on the list of Ohio Valley Conference Medal of Honor recipients, besting its previous high of 27 a year ago.
Each award winner carried a 4.0 GPA for the 2015-16 school year.
The Academic Medal of Honor is given annually to student-athletes who achieve the highest GPA in an OVC-sponsored sport.
It's the third time SEMO has put at least 20 on the list.

The Southeast women's tennis team announced the signing of Oleksandra Doroshenko on Thursday.
A native of Kharkiv, Ukraine, Doroshenko made it to the singles semifinals and the doubles championship in the Ukraine Championships.
"She will provide us a much-needed depth to the team," coach Mary Beth Gunn said in a press release. "Oleksandra is a strong competitor with a big game.
"I am looking forward to seeing what all she can do on the court."
