Southeast paired with Miami (Ohio)

The Southeast Missouri State men's basketball team now knows its Feb. 20 opponent in the annual ESPN BracketBusters series.

It was announced Monday that Southeast will play at Miami (Ohio) for the first meeting between the programs. Game time has not yet been determined.

According to the BracketBusters setup, Miami will return the contest to Cape Girardeau next season.

Miami is 8-13 overall and third in the Mid-American Conference East Division standings at 5-3.

Miami is the third MAC squad Southeast will play this season, joining Northern Illinois and Eastern Michigan. Southeast won at Northern Illinois and lost to Eastern Michigan at home.

The Southeast-Miami game will not be televised.
