Oak Ridge boys finished second in the Class 1 District 1 meet at Notre Dame High School. Brock Hobeck finished second with a time of 17:40.38. Ty Wilson (17:43.63) was right behind Hobeck with a third-place finish.
Woodland boys and girls won the Class District 1 championship at Notre Dame High School. Reed (16:38.01) and Calvin Layton (16:58.09) finished in first and second place in the boys’ race. Faith Rouggly placed second in the girls’ race with a time of 20:39.92.
Notre Dame girls placed third in the Class 3 District 1 race on their home course. Lauren Eftink took first place at 18:43.70, followed by Lily Coy (20:09.74) who finished fifth. Jackson Jones led the Bulldogs with a 10th-place finish in the boys’ race with a time of 17:30.49.
Jackson boys finished fifth in the Class 5 District 1 meet at Cedar Hill, Mo. Bryce Gentry finished in second place and set a new school record with a time of 15:27.00. Jack Hutson will join Gentry in state after qualifying with a time of 16:30 and a 21st-place finish.
Jackson girls finished sixth in the Class 5 District 1 race at Cedar Hill, Mo, and sent three runners to the state meet. Annika Barks leads the trio with a time of 18:55 and a fifth-place finish, followed by Lynlee LaValle (19:38) and Emma Niedbalski (19:38.30).
St. Vincent boys finished third in the Class 2 District 1 meet at Notre Dame High School. Carter Hennemann (17:26.48) led the pack with a fifth-place finish while Jackson Unterreiner (17:33.46) finished eighth.
Bair Hopkins (16:51.40) led the Perryville boys in the Class 4 District 1 race at Cedar Hill, Mo., with a 37th-place finish.
Logan Schiwitz led the Scott City girls with a sixth-place finish and 21:19.90 time in the Class 2 District 1 meet at Notre Dame High School.
