Perryville sophomore Allison Moldenhauer helped the Pirates girls basketball team earn a pair of victories last week.

Moldenhauer came up with three steals in the fourth quarter to help the Pirates upset Woodland 46-31 on Thursday. She also dished out five assists and scored nine points in the win.

Moldenhauer helped the Pirates pull off their second upset of the week Saturday in the annual Mayor's Cup game. She scored 10 points in Perryville's 39-28 win over crosstown rival St. Vincent.

"It was a very big win for us. We knew we were the underdog coming into this game," Perryville coach Vicki Lohmann said.

Moldenhauer put together another strong game in the Pirates' 48-32 loss to Jackson on Monday. She scored nine points and recorded four steals in the defeat.

Moldenhauer and the Pirates return to action Thursday when Festus visits.
