Jackson's Cassidi Tomsu scored four goals to lead the Indians to a 10-0 victory over Marion, Illinois, in the championship game of the Noon Optimist Club Tournament on Saturday at Central High School.

All four of the junior forward's goals were assisted by senior Jordan Nelson in a game that was shortened in the second half by the mercy rule.

"I certainly think they're starting to get a feel for each other," Jackson coach Justin McMullen said about Nelson and Tomsu. "But it's good to see all the girls getting involved in the action as well. We're just looking to play off of each other, trying to be a little more fluent in our attack, and I think we saw that today."

The victory marked Jackson's fourth consecutive to start the season.
