Southeast Missouri State junior forward Tyler Stone was named the College Sports Madness Ohio Valley Conference player of the week Monday.
Stone scored a game-high 23 points to lead Southeast to a 65-60 come-from-behind home win over Tennessee-Martin in Saturday's OVC opener.
Stone, who hit 9 of 15 field-goal attempts and grabbed nine rebounds, scored seven straight Southeast points late in the game to break a 56-56 tie.
Stone has scored double figures in 14 straight games. He is the OVC's third-leading scorer and rebounder with averages of 17.7 points and 8.6 boards.
