The Southeast Missouri State baseball team lacked timely hits as it saw a four-game winning streak end Tuesday in Jonesboro, Ark.

The Redhawks left at least one runner in scoring position for seven consecutive innings in an 8-3 loss to the Red Wolves.

Southeast (6-3), coming off a three-game sweep of Indiana Purdue Fort Wayne over the weekend, scored its three runs on 10 hits.

Southeast gave starting pitcher Alex Winkelman a 2-0 lead in the top of the first.
