The Southeast Missouri State track and field program won two of the Ohio Valley Conference's weekly awards, with one going to a local product.

Jill Schnurbusch, a sophomore from Notre Dame Regional High School, earned her first career OVC honor. She was named female field athlete of the week.

Schnurbusch picked up the first individual title of her college career, winning the pole vault at Friday's Redhawk Invitational that Southeast hosted. Her height of 11 feet, 5 3/4 inches is the best in the OVC in more than a month.

Senior Brandon Colbert claimed the OVC male field athlete of the week for the third time this season and fifth time during his indoor career.

Colbert was second in the weight throw at the Redhawk Invitational with a distance of 60-11 1/2. He owns the top mark in the conference this year.

Southeast competes in the OVC indoor championships Friday and Saturday in Charleston, Ill.
