The Southeast Missouri State soccer team went into overtime in an Ohio Valley Conference game for the fourth time this season on Thursday night, and like three other conference games it ended in a tie.

The Redhawks and Morehead State played to a 2-2 draw in Morehead, Kentucky.

Southeast went up 1-0 in the 16th minute when junior transfer Angie Mann scored on a penalty kick. The Redhawks maintained the lead through the first half.

The Eagles knotted it at 1-all 32 seconds into the second half on a goal by freshman Abby Timm.

Freshman Dani Wilson, who was credited with the assist on Timm's goal, scored 14:15 later on a Timm-assisted goal to put MSU up 2-1.

Southeast freshman Lauren Kaempfe headed one in in the 78th minute totie it at 2-2. Paige Luehmann assisted on the goal.

The Redhawks finished with 11 shots in the game -- five in the first half, four in the second and one in each of the overtime periods -- and 10 on goal . MSU finished with 13 shots with seven on goal. Eleven of the Eagles' shots came in the second half when they scored both their goals.

Kampfe had a game-high four shots on goal. Kaitlin Kuznacic had two shots on goal for the Redhawks.

Southeast goalie Kindra Lierz made five saves as she played the entire 110 minutes in net. MSU's Kaitlyn Murphy made eight saves.

The Redhawks are now 8-5-4 and 3-2-3 in the OVC and in fifth place in the conference. MSU, which is second in the OVC standings, improved to 8-8-2 and 5-2-1 in conference.

Southeast hosts Tennessee Tech, which is in third place in the conference standings, for Senior Day on Sunday. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. at Houck Stadium.

The Redhawks conclude the regular-season on the road at UT Martin (6-10, 4-4 OVC) on Thursday.
