The Redhawk men won their only home meet of the season while the women's team took third.

The Southeast Missouri State men's track and field team made the most of its only home meet of the season.

The Redhawks won the Drury Hotels Joey Haines Invitational on Saturday.

They finished with 150.5 points while Memphis came in second with 110.5.

Middle Tennessee State was third (107), Marquette fourth (85.5) and Lipscomb fifth (82.5).

SIU Edwardsville, Western Illinois, Southern Illinois, Arkansas State and UT Martin finished sixth through 10th, respectively.

The Southeast women's team took third at the meet, which was held at the Abe Stuber Track and Field Complex, with 107.5 points. Middle Tennessee State's women's team won with 145.5 while Marquette was second with 115.5. Memphis was fourth with 82 and Lipscomb fifth with 69.5.

SIU Edwardsville, Western Illinois, Southern Illinois, Arkansas State and UT Martin finished sixth through 10th, respectively.

Competition began Friday with the hammer throw and 10,000-meter run. Kevin Farley finished second in the hammer throw with a 62.01-meter toss. Stephen Zagurski (53.91m) and Jason Walker (51.35m) came in seventh and ninth, respectively, while Paden Wachter was 10th on the women's side (46.72m).

Sydney O'Brien won the women's 10,000-meter run with a time of 37 minutes, 6.6 seconds. Rachel Hutchcraft was fifth with a time of 39:18.8.

Nathan Cook finished third in the men's race in 23:05.0 followed by Jaime Zarate in fourth (32:21.4).

Aaliah Herron took seventh in the women's shot put on Saturday with a toss of 13.42m.

Farley was second (18.35m) and Zagurski ninth (14.77m) on the men's side.

Farley won the discus with a throw of 55.94m.

Dalton Huffman placed sixth in the high jump (1.93m) while Chante Mosby finished in a five-way tie for fifth with a jump of 1.57m and Abi Sowash was 10th (1.52m) on the women's side.

Jacob Kent won the men's long jump (7.14m) with Chris Martin finishing second (7.13m) and Tre Curry taking eighth (6.70m).

Dylan Rush's height of 4.90m was good for first in the men's pole vault while Duncan Ross (4.15m) was fourth.

Sierra Maddox and Jacqueline Jeschka finished second (3.56m) and fifth (3.11m), respectively, in the women's pole vault.

Taylor Coffelt was second (39.41m) and Wacther 10th (31.09m) in the women's javelin.

Coffelt was fifth in the 100-meter hurdles.

Lindsey Seabaugh won the 3,000-meter steeplechase with a time of 11:52.30 while Jace Mortimer was second in the men's race in 9:43.73.

Mariam Ajiroba was second (12.11) in the women's 100-meter dash while Kayla Heidelberg (12.48), Macy Ritter (12.58) and Chelsea Miller (12.76) finished seventh through ninth, respectively.

Ajiroba also finished second in the 200 (24.96), which Cheyanne Tunti won with a time of 24.85.

Tunti also won the 400-meter dash (55.08). Jordan Barber took third on the men's side with a time of 49.32 with Brannon Wright finishing fourth in 49.33.

Barber was sixth in the 200-meter dash in 22.35.

Megan Parks was seventh in the 800-meter run in 2:18.55. She was sixth in the 1,500-meter run in 4:42.42 and Angela Sumner took ninth in 4:50.35.

Marc Maton won the men's 1,500 in 3:54.22.

Craig Munie was second (15:24.21) and Dan Plunkett fourth (15:43.64) in the men's 5,000-meter run. Kaitlyn Shea was third on the women's side in 18:04.71.

The Redhawks are set to compete next weekend at the Hilltopper Relays hosted by Western Kentucky.
