Southeast Missouri State freshman Annisa Warasanti recorded two more three-set wins Saturday to capture the women's Division 3 singles portion of the Austin Peay fall tennis tournament.

Warasanti, a native of Bandung, Indonesia, began the final day with a 6-3, 4-6, 10-4 win over Austin Peay's Jovana Karac, and later beat Murray State's Verginie Tchakarova, 6-3, 0-6, 10-6 for the title.

Warasanti also posted a pair of three-set victories during the tournament's opening round Friday to finish the event 4-0.

"Anna played smart and was able to finish her final three matches by winning the match tiebreaker," Southeast first-year coach Leah Hottois said in a release. "She showed a lot of heart and never gave up."

Southeast will continue its fall schedule Oct. 11-12 at the Tennessee-Martin tournament.
