NEW ORLEANS, La. -- Jacksonville St. won the two-day, 17-team Bob Brown/Sportscare Classic, posting a 15-stroke victory over runner-up Jackson St. while Southeast Missouri finished a distant 12th.
Jacksonville St., which finished Monday in second place with a 298 total, three strokes behind Purdue, posted a 284 total on Tuesday. Jacksonville St., led by medalist Jose Campra, finished with a 582 total.
Campra tied the University of New Orleans' Casey Crain with a two-under 142 on the par-72 Golf Club of New Orleans but won a playoff.
Southeast followed up a round of 319 with a 309 for a 628 total. Bryan Johnson led Southeast with an 11th-place finish (74-75-149). Other Southeast golfers: John Litzelfelner (T-31, 78-76154), Woody Hill (T-42, 79-77-156), Andy Golden (T-89, 88-81-169), and Kent Phillips (91, 88-82-190).
