Southeast baseball releases 2011 schedule

Southeast Missouri State has released its 2011 baseball schedule.

The Redhawks will open the season in Lafayette, La., against Louisiana-Lafayette on Feb. 18 to start a three-game series.

Southeast will have its home opener Feb. 22 against NAIA Harris-Stowe from St. Louis.

Other in-state matchups feature the annual home and home series against Saint Louis University and two games in Springfield, Mo., against Missouri State.

Southeast's highest-profile opponent will be perennial national power Arkansas. The Redhawks travel to Fayetteville, Ark., for a two-game series with the Southeastern Conference opponent May 3 and 4.

The Redhawks open Ohio Valley Conference play at home March 26 and 27 with a three-game series against Morehead State.
