For the second straight day, Southeast Missouri State's scheduled baseball game at Central Arkansas was canceled due to the strong possibility of heavy rain.

The squads were supposed to play Tuesday and today in Conway, Ark., but the Redhawks never made the five-hour trip because of the forecast of bad weather.

Southeast, 25-16 overall, is a second-place 11-4 in the Ohio Valley Conference, just percentage points behind first-place Eastern Illinois (32-9, 10-3), which visits this weekend for a three-game series. There will be a doubleheader 1 p.m. Saturday and a contest 1 p.m. Sunday.
