The Southeast Missouri State Student-Athlete Advisory Committee is participating in the Ohio Valley Conference canned food drive being held through Monday.

Canned food and other nonperishable items will be collected at Southeast home athletic events this weekend.

Fans who bring three canned food items will receive free admission to Friday's 7 p.m. volleyball match at Houck Field House.

Canned food items will also be accepted at Saturday's three athletic events.

Volleyball plays at 2 p.m., women's basketball has a 5:30 p.m. exhibition game at the Show Me Center and men's basketball has a 7:45 p.m. exhibition game at the Show Me Center.

Donations can also be taken to the Redhawks Success Center, located on the second floor of the Student Recreation Center South, through Monday.

All items collected will be donated to Cape Girardeau charitable organizations.
