The Southeast Missouri State women's basketball team entered Wednesday night's Ohio Valley Conference game winless on the road while Tennessee-Martin was undefeated at home.
That trend continued as UTM blistered Southeast 92-62 in Martin, Tenn.
UTM, which has won 11 straight home games dating back to last season, improved to 11-8 overall and 6-2 in OVC play. The Skyhawks are tied for second place in the 10-team league.
The Redhawks (6-12, 2-6) fell to eighth place after allowing a season-high point total to a conference opponent. They have lost 10 consecutive road games, including seven straight this season.
Southeast held two one-point leads in the opening six minutes but most of the night belonged to the Skyhawks, who built a 19-point lead late in the first half and carried a 47-30 advantage into the break.
UTM scored the first 11 points of the second half to lead 58-30 and the rout was on. Southeast got no closer than 26 points and trailed by as many as 33.
The Skyhawks feature 10 freshmen and got a game-high 17 points from one of those rookies, guard Heather Butler.
Butler, the OVC's leading scorer and the nation's top freshman scorer at 20 points per game, did almost all of her damage in the first half with 16 points.
Southeast was paced by sophomore guard Jasmine Davis with a season-high 15 points. Sophomore forward Bailie Roberts had 14 points and nine rebounds.
Davis was 7 of 7 from the free-throw line. She has made 23 straight foul shots.
UTM entered play leading the league and ranked 13th nationally in made 3-pointers with an average of eight per game.
The Skyhawks were 14 of 41 from beyond the arc against Southeast for 34.1 percent. They entered tops in the OVC at 32.6 percent.
UTM outscored Southeast by 30 points from long range. The Redhawks made just 4 of 18 3-pointers (22.2 percent).
The Skyhawks shot 44.8 percent from the field overall compared to 39.3 percent for Southeast. UTM also had a commanding 51-35 rebounding edge.
Southeast has another OVC road game Saturday, against ninth-place Murray State (5-12, 1-6) at 5:15 p.m.
