__Saluting the seniors__

Jackson celebrated one of the largest senior classes in program history with a win over Sikeston and a close loss to Ste. Genevieve.

It was the first time since 2011 that the Indians lost a duel meet at home. All but two matches ended by fall.

After the Dragons jumped ahead early, the Indians were able to close the game to 18-16 after junior Jacob Shirrell pinned Gavin Amlong in 70 seconds.

The Dragons won the next three matches, senior Griffin Horman pinned Kaleb McBride and Tyler Beyatte pinned his opponent in 26 seconds to change the momentum of the meet. A pin by Kadon Shaw gave Jackson a chance to win the meet on the final match.

The meet came down to the last match between Landon Vassalli and Drake Meyer, both of whom are highly ranked in their respective classes. Vassalli needed to win by fall for Jackson to come out on top. Meyer won by pin to seal the win for the Dragons.

Senior Gavin Hicks won a 3-0 decision against Sikeston's Jacob Leavitt in his only match of the night.
