Players from Sikeston won both the boys and girls 18-and-under singles titles on Sunday at the CATA Jammin' Junior tennis tournament played at the Southeast Missouri State University tennis courts.

Jenni Dewitt swept aside Kara True, of Charleston, 6-1, 6-1, in the girls final, while Mark Leible rallied to defeat Blake Branum, of Charleston, in the boys final, winning 2-6, 6-0, 6-3.

Sarah Detring, of Jackson, won the 16-and-under girls singles, defeating Lauren Tobin, of Cape Girardeau, 6-2, 6-3.

In the 16-and-under boys final, Logan Hampton, of Sikeston, rolled to a 6-2, 6-2 sweep of Sikeston's Clay Matthews.

Cape Girardeau players were victorious on both sides in 14-and-under singles. In an all Cape boys final, Andrew Shupert defeated Dylan Thomas, 6-4, 6-0. In the girls final, Christen Edmonds swept aside Jackson's Erinne Haff, 6-0, 6-1.

In the boys double final, the Sikeston tandem of Leible and Charlie Jones outlasted Branum and Josh Hubbard, 6-3, 4-6, 12-10.

The girls doubles final, between the Cape team of Dani Gross and Monica Toole and the duo of Dewitt and True, was rained out.
