BLOOMFIELD, Mo. — The Sikeston girls’ basketball team earned a 62-46 win at Bloomfield on Tuesday, Jan. 17.
Landry Hammontree continued her strong sophomore season with a game-high 26 points for the Lady Bulldogs (3-12), while Danyella Medrano led the Lady Wildcats (4-9) with 12.
"I thought our girls played well," said Sikeston coach Vaughn Shephard. "We came out in the first quarter and played very well. There were moments when we got off track, but overall I was proud of the girls. We are playing so much better."
Sikeston travels to Poplar Bluff (5-9) on Thursday, Jan. 19, while Bloomfield is on the road at Clearwater (1-11).
