TULSA, Okla. -- Southeast Missouri State University's women's soccer team finally allowed its first goals of the season Friday night, but that didn't prevent the Otahkians from remaining undefeated.

The Otahkians, who had won their first six games of the year by shutout, improved to 7-0 by holding off Tulsa 3-2 on the opening day of the four-team Oral Roberts Adidas Classic.

Erin Slattery, Erika Todd and Diana Poovey scored goals for Southeast while Jenny Hamilton and Marla Gianino recorded assists.

Southeast trailed for the first time all season as Tulsa (4-3-1) scored just 2:19 into the contest on a penalty kick.

But the Otahkians scored the game's next three goals to take control. Slattery and Todd tallied in the final 12 minutes of the opening half to put Southeast up 2-1 at the intermission.

Poovey scored early in the second half to make it 3-1 and the Otahkians were able to hold off Tulsa down the stretch, despite allowing one more goal.

The Otahkians will play host Oral Roberts Sunday afternoon to close out the Adidas Classic.
