~ Darrell Jackson reinjured his foot in Saturday's win over Dallas.
KIRKLAND, Wash. -- Seattle Seahawks leading receiver Darrell Jackson is unlikely to play in Sunday's NFC divisional playoff game at Chicago.
Seattle coach Mike Holmgren said Monday on his KIRO radio show in Seattle that Jackson worsened a turf toe ligament strain on his left foot during Saturday's win against Dallas.
Jackson led the NFL in touchdown receptions before he was injured Dec. 10. He started against the Cowboys, despite missing the previous three games and all of last week's practices. He ran 14 plays in the first quarter, but he had only five in second period and one in the third.
Holmgren also said receiver D.J. Hackett aggravated a hip injury Saturday while catching two passes for eight yards. Hackett sustained a hip flexor Dec. 31.
Seattle lost 37-6 in Chicago on Oct. 1, its first of six games without running back Shaun Alexander. Holmgren said he and his coaches will take a close look at that game film as they prepare for the rematch.
Eagles' Sheppard injured
PHILADELPHIA -- Eagles Pro Bowl cornerback Lito Sheppard will miss Saturday's second-round playoff game against New Orleans with a dislocated right elbow.
Sheppard was injured going for a tackle on a running play in the fourth quarter of Sunday's 23-20 victory over the New York Giants. He was replaced by Rod Hood.
William James, who was inactive against the Giants, will take Sheppard's roster spot and join Hood, Sheldon Brown and Joselio Hanson in the secondary.
Should the Eagles advance, it's possible Sheppard could return to the lineup.
"It's a little tricky," coach Andy Reid said Monday. "This week for sure he won't be back. We'll see down the road, if there is a down the road."
Sheppard missed three games with an ankle injury in September, but had six interceptions and earned his second trip to the Pro Bowl.
The Eagles already are without five-time Pro Bowl quarterback Donovan McNabb and three-time Pro Bowl defensive end Jevon Kearse. McNabb (knee) went down in Week 11 and Kearse (knee) has been sidelined since Week 2.
