MOREHEAD, Ky. -- Southeast Missouri State University moved within two wins of a perfect Ohio Valley Conference volleyball season with a sweep of Morehead St. on Saturday.

Southeast ran its OVC mark to an unblemished 14-0 with a 15-12, 15-7, 15-7 victory. The Otahkians improved to 18-8 overall.

Morehead St. dipped to 17-10 overall and 6-7 in the conference.

Lea Beckemeyer and Krista Haukap again led Southeast's strong play with 22 and 21 kills, respectively. Rachelle Knapp added 14 kills as the Otahkians assembled a .371 attack percentage on the game. Lori Lange led the defensive effort with 16 digs while Haukap had 12 and Beckemeyer had 10. Emily Scannell dished out 57 assists to her teammates.

Carla Imperatore recorded a team-high 11 kills for Morehead St.

The Otahkians can complete a perfect OVC regular season this week at home. Southeast will play host to Austin Peay on Wednesday at 7 p.m. Tennessee State will visit on Saturday.
