FORT COLLINS, Colo. -- Southeast Missouri's volleyball team nearly upset Colorado State Saturday in the University Park Holiday Inn Classic but was instead left looking for its first win of the season.
After winning the first two sets 15-6, 15-12, Southeast saw Colorado State, ranked No. 24 in the nation, reel off the final three sets 5-15, 3-15, 11-15.
Colorado State improved to 3-0 while Southeast fell to 0-3.
Jackie Dewort led the Otahkians with 14 kills and 15 digs; Lea Beckmeyer had 12 kills and 16 digs; Krista Haukap had 11 kills; and Amy Kenken dished out 47 assists.
