Southeast bettered Texas Woman's in three of the four exercises.

Both teams did their best scoring in the vault. Texas Woman's turned in a 48.050 to Southeast's 47.750 in the event. The Otahkians Erin Chenier tied for first with a 9.675.

Southeast more than made up for the difference in the floor exercise with a 47.425 to Texas Woman's 46.550. Malia Roberts and Kristin Frohlich finished first in the event with 9.725 scores.

In the beam, Southeast held a slight edge at 47.125 to 47.050. Chenier again tied for first in the event with Texas Woman's Kim Koeing at 9.700.

Southeast posted a 46.525 total in the bars to Texas Woman's 46.000. Frohlich won the event with a 9.525.
