Southeast's Amy Arteme placed first in a time of 18:42.36 to edge teammate Tammy Wenkel (18:49.25) as the Otahkians claimed five of the top six times.

Lindsey Newlin of Murray State (18:51.47) took third and was followed by Southeast's Leslie McNamara (4th, 19:07.32), Celeste Ramsey (5th, 19:11.38) and Christy Williams (6th, 19:16.93).

In the men's race, Murray State's Brian Palmer finished first in 20:42.16, edging teammate Brian Recktenwald (21:33.41).

Southeast's top five finishers: Jim Wolsey (9th, 22:39.34); Tyson Brown (10th, 22:52.66); Nathan Spears (11th, 23:00.80); Danny Copland (12th, 23:01.34); and Blake Popp (13th, 23:02.52).
