The Scott County Junior American Legion baseball team beat host Sikeston 14-6 in the first game before dropping the second 24-4 in five innings Thursday.

Chance Tenkhoff earned the win in the opener. He allowed six runs, three earned, over 6 1/3 innings. He also added two RBIs at the plate.

Gaven Ray went 4 for 4 with two RBIs and five runs scored, while Lane Henson and Zach Carlyle both drove in two runs for Scott County (12-11).

Carlyle took the loss in the second game, although he did go 2 for 2 at the plate.
