Scott County, Jackson SBR play to tie

The Scott County Senior Legion and Jackson Senior Babe Ruth baseball teams hooked up in a wild affair Wednesday night in Scott City.

The game, scheduled for nine innings, went 12 innings before being called with the squads tied 11-11.

Scott County, which is 4-14-1, had 13 hits.

Logan Henson went 4 for 5 with two RBIs and two runs scored. He also went four scoreless innings on the mound, striking out seven, and was the pitcher of record when the game was called.

Dominic Hooper also went 4 for 5 with two RBIs and two runs scored.

Trent Pobst doubled twice, tripled and delivered five RBIs.

Jackson's 18-hit attack was led by Marc Rivas. He went 5 for 7 with three doubles and five RBIs.
