Brooke Simpson put down nine kills to go with five aces and five digs to lead the Scott City volleyball team to win No. 30 this season.

The Rams went on the road and moved past Central in two games Tuesday.

Katie Diebold recorded eight assists, four aces and six digs, while Anna Laitinen finished with seven kills, three block kills and 10 digs for Scott City (30-1-3).

Wendi Zickfield led the Tigers with five kills and six digs, while Taylor Kirn added seven digs and Rita Walter six.

Game scores were 25-9, 25-11.

JV — Central won in two games.

Bloomfield 16 19

The Cubs earned the victory to improve to 19-7-2.

Jasmine Johnson paced Bell City with 10 kills, while Codie Lancaster dished out 23 assists.

Notre Dame 25 28

Shannon Brennan served four aces to lead the Bulldogs.

Bridgette Nenninger and Emily Welker added five kills each.

On the defensive end, Kelsey Bradshaw recorded 17 digs, while Meghan Dohogne had four.

JV — Notre Dame won in two games.

Marquand 10 11 25 18

Courtney Brune smacked 20 kills and five aces to lead the Panthers' attack.

Chelsey Kight added 18 kills and Ashley Doublin dished out 46 assists for Meadow Heights (17-10-1).

SEMO small-school

Saxony Lutheran swept the boys and girls team titles at the SEMO Conference small-school meet.

Ross Gage won the boys race in 18 minutes, 14 seconds, while teammate Joe Buerck was fourth.

Meadow Heights' Daylan Davis took second.

In the girls race, Saxony's Kristin Dippold was the winner in 22:25. Crusaders teammate Lucy Gage was second.
