The Scott City volleyball team notched its 10th victory of the season by easing past host Bloomfield 25-11, 25-19 on Thursday night.

Brooke Simpson led the Rams (10-1-1) with 11 digs and 11 kills.

Katie Diebold and Jordan McFall each added 10 assists for Scott City, while Stephanie Essner tallied 11 digs.

Anna Laitinen and Katie Hogan added nine digs apiece for the winners.

Perryville 25 20 25 Grandview 20 25 12

Perryville won on the road in three games.

Megan Moldenhauer led the Pirates (9-5-1) with 26 assists. Carmen Roth tallied nine digs and Logan Johnson added six digs.

JV — Perryville won.

Meadow Hts. 25 17 25

Fredericktown 15 25 20

Courtney Brune put down nine kills to lead the host Panthers.

Ashley Doublin had 23 assists while Micah Morse tallied 10 digs. Jill Mills nailed five kills and Chelsey Kight added four kills for Meadow Heights (8-6-1).

JV — Meadow Heights won.

Woodland 25 23 25

Zalma 23 25 20

Kaitlin McCormick had 11 kills and six blocks to lead host Woodland.

Lauren Johnson added seven kills for the Cardinals, while Becky Brannon dished out 22 assists.

JV — Woodland won.

Oak Ridge 25 25

Greenville 22 21

Lauren Meyer had five kills and two blocks, while Emily Rouch added two kills and two blocks, to lead host Oak Ridge (3-8).

JV — Oak Ridge won.

New Madrid 25 25

Oran 19 22

Beth Griffin had seven digs, four aces and two kills, but Oran lost at home.

Kelsie Glastetter added four kills and four digs for the Eagles (1-3-1), while Megan Cook tallied five assists and four digs (1-3-1).

JV — Oran won.

DeSoto 24 25 25

St. Vincent 26 16 14

St. Vincent won the first game before falling in the next two to DeSoto.

Sarah DeWilde put down five kills and Courtney Besand tallied six digs for St. Vincent.

BOYS SOCCER

Perryville 2, Hillsboro 1

The Pirates kept their undefeated season alive as they knocked off visiting Hillsboro.

Dalton Hoehn scored the game winner on a penalty kick in the 63rd minute for Perrvyille (6-0).

Wade Fulton netted the first goal on an assist from Tyler Lawrence.

Saxony Lutheran 6, Kennett 1

Garrett Fritsche and Andrew Etzold both had two goals and one assist as the visiting Crusaders romped.

Casey Hemmann and Bryant Steffens also scored for the Crusaders (5-2), while Ross Gage and Ryan Sprandel added assists.

Mehlville 2, Jackson 1 OT

Jackson lost in overtime to visiting Mehlville.

Mehlville scored 15 minutes into the second half on a penalty kick, before Dylan Dee tied the game with a penalty kick of his own with 8 minutes to play.

In overtime, Mehlville scored on a loose ball in the box to put the Indians (4-4) away.

SOFTBALL

Notre Dame 10, Jackson 0, 5 inn.

Britney Schott went 2-for-3 with a triple and four RBIs as the undefeated Bulldogs pounded the visiting Indians in five innings.

Lauren Reinagel struck out 10 of the 16 batters she faced and allowed only one hit for Notre Dame (11-0).

Reinagel, Jane Morrill, Alexis Ralls and Nikki Chambers all had two hits and a double, while Alecia Glaus and Mallory Siebert added two hits apiece.
